The second image is an attempt to uninstall Avast. As you can see, literally nothing renders. The first screenshot shows what happens when I click on the Avast icon in WHS. I have attached a document that contains two screen shot images of what I'm experiencing. The system keeps responding that it cannot be uninstalled. So I tried uninstalling the program with the desire of reinstalling it so I could enter the key.
When I go to the Avast link in WHS, literally nothing renders. When I launch the WHS for my media smart, I get a dialogue box that opens telling me to install the key or uninstall the program. However, I cannot on my MidiaSmart server. I was able to install the key for the professional edition on my PC. The free trial ran up and I purchased the family pack. I love the products and they have worked very well. I had installed the professional edition and the Windows Home Server Edition (for my HP Mediasmart server) a few months ago.
I am hoping the great support from this site might steer me in the right direction. I have submitted multiple support queries to Avast's support site, but I have not received an answer from them.
